The EASTERN CONNECTICUT RECORDER SOCIETY welcomes you to a fourteenth season of recorder playing.  We offer monthly meetings, September through June, each one conducted by a professional musician specializing in music for the recorder.  We will end our season with a members' concert and pot luck luncheon. 

 

We will meet again this year at the facilities of the CONNECTICUT FOREST AND PARK ASSOCIATION  in Middlefield, Connecticut.  Please CLICK HERE for driving directions.

 

Our Saturday morning playing sessions meet from 10:00 to 12:30.  Please plan to arrive at 9:30 for refreshments and "set-up".  Remember to bring your music stand and a pencil.  Music is provided by the guest coach. 

 

THE EARLY GROUP, which meets from 9:00 to 9:50 presents a preview of the morning's music, focusing on technique and reading, aimed at the less experienced, but anyone may join in.

WE OFFER A MENTORING PROGRAM to help those who would benefit by sitting beside and sharing a part with a more experienced player.
